What is Home Watch Service?
A Home Watch service is designed to give you peace of mind while you are away from your home. Your home is checked on by professionals looking for any potential problems. Wells Area Home Watch Services will design a checklist based on your individual needs and concerns. If a situation does arise, you will be notified so the problem can be dealt with in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Why do I need a Home Watch Service?
Your home or vacation property is a very valuable asset and investment. Would you trust your 401K to your neighbor? We are a professional and insured company that will do a thorough inspection of your property and report back to you.
How do I know if there is a problem?
Wells Area Home Watch Services will inspect your property regularly and will report any issues to you immediately. With our detailed inspection report, you can be assured that everything is being checked.
Is a Home Watch Service a security service?
Not as a rule. However, according to The National Home Watch Association, having a visible presence in your empty home may act as a crime deterrent.
Can you help me with household tasks other than checking on my property? Absolutely! We will do storm checks, coordinate access and meet authorized repair and utility providers, accept deliveries on your behalf as well as other services upon request. See "Additional Services" tab for more details.
Can I request a special visit?
Yes, you absolutely can. If you feel the need for an additional visit or a neighbor saw something you want us to check on, we will be more than happy to check on your home. After all, we are your eyes when you're not here.
Will you do storm checks?
Yes, absolutely! Living in Maine in the Winter can always bring the threat of a blizzards and severe weather. We will secure outside furniture on your property and can meet your contractor to install any storm shutters needed.
Are you insured?
Yes. Wells Area Home Watch Services LLC is fully insured.
